Aldi extends baby formula price freeze
Aldi plans to extend its baby formula price freeze to the end of 2026, in a bid to support new parents with essential costs.
According to the business, this change will help parents save an estimated £5 compared to the average price elsewhere.
The discounter is set to keep the price of its Mamia First Infant Milk at £6.99 for the rest of the year after previously extending the commitment to hold the price until summer 2026.
Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: “Household budgets remain under pressure, and some infant formula brands are increasing prices. That’s why we’re extending our Mamia First Infant Milk price freeze until the end of 2026.

“We know that every penny counts for parents, particularly during those early years, which is why we’re committed to keeping this essential product accessible and affordable.”
This move is part of Aldi’s pledge to support parents with costs, and earlier this year it relaunched the Mamia New Parent Fund, which gives away £100 Aldi vouchers every week to help families.
Aldi’s fund aims to assist new families with providing for their children with the voucher available for a range of products, including nappies, wipes and toiletries.
