Frozen meal brands GSN secures Co-op listing
Healthy frozen meal brands Gold Standard Nutrition has secured its first retail listing across Co-op stores in Jersey and Guernsey.
This marks the brand’s first entry into the Channel Islands, and aims to provide shoppers with a wide range of convenient frozen meals.
The company was initially founded for gym-goers who wanted high-protein meals but lacked the time for cooking. It has expanded into the mainstream retail market.
Kevin Mowatt, chief retail officer at Channel Islands Co-op, said: “We are pleased to welcome GSN – a strong addition to our range, offering customers a convenient and high protein, low-sugar meal option, providing an increased choice of healthier and simpler meals.”

The brand is set to launch its 23 GSN ‘Pots of Gold’, five flavoured frozen chicken options and seven wrap flavours at Co-op across Jersey and Guernsey.
As part of the launch, branded GSN freezers have been installed across the Channel Islands stores, which aims to create a dedicated destination for healthier frozen food choices in-store.
Craig Allen, founder of GSN, said: “We are incredibly excited to bring GSN to the Channel Islands. This is the largest single retail listing in our 14-year history with 41 SKUs across pots, wraps, flavoured chicken and our Signature Meal range launching simultaneously across both Jersey and Guernsey.
“The Islands are getting their first-ever healthy frozen food offering, and we are proud that GSN is the brand to deliver it.”
