Bacardi acquires Irish whiskey brand Teeling
Bacardi has announced the complete acquisition of the Telling Whiskey Company and Teeling Irish whiskey brand for an undisclosed amount.
The business has previously held a minor stake in the Dublin-based whiskey company since 2017, and increased its stake to become majority shareholder in 2022.
The founders of the brand, Jack and Stephen Teeling, will remain a part of the company as strategic advisors, where they will shape its future growth plans.
According to the business, since Bacardi first partnered with Teeling Whiskey Company the brand has more than doubled in size and grown its global presence.
The Irish whiskey brand is now exported to over 80 international markets.

Teeling Whiskey was first founded in 2012 and has gained traction through creating handcrafted, small-batch Irish whiskeys.
