Heinz launches Marry Me Pasta Sauce
Heinz is launching a new Marry Me Pasta Sauce inspired by the viral recipe trend, which gained major traction on social media with over 400m TikTok views.
Made with sundried tomatoes, cream cheese, extra virgin olive oil and basil, the new product was designed to bring the viral trend to supermarkets across the country.
According to the business, the new launch builds on the success of the brand’s growing selection of sauces, which aims to offer shoppers a range made with high-quality ingredients.
Aditi Hilgers, Taste Elevation and masterbrand director at Heinz UK said: “Inspired by one of the internet’s most talked-about recipes, we have created a sauce that delivers a rich, creamy and indulgent flavour with the trusted quality of Heinz.
“Whether it’s a date night, dinner with friends, or simply elevating a midweek meal, Heinz Marry Me Pasta Sauce is designed to help create more delicious ‘yes moments’ around the table.”

The new Heinz Marry Me Pasta Sauce is now available in Waitrose and from the brand’s website for a recommended retail price of £2.00 and will roll out nationwide from 29 June.
To support the launch of the new flavour, Heinz has partnered with dating app Breeze to host a range of summer pasta-making workshops which are made to advertise the new sauce to shoppers.
The collaboration comes after figures from Breeze revealed that over three quarters (78 per cent) of users described food as their love language, while 80 per cent considered making pasta a good date activity.
Marco van der Woude, co-founder of Breeze, said: “Partnering with Heinz felt like a natural fit for Breeze, because the Marry Me Pasta Sauce captures exactly what we see in our data every day: that the most romantic moments often happen around a meal.”
