Nisa Local Dallam Stores commemorates £50,000 charity donation milestone
Nisa Local Dallam Stores has announced that it raised £50,000 in donations in collaboration with Co-op Wholesale’s Making a Difference Locally charity programme.
The convenience store has backed several community organisations and charitable initiatives, such as Business For Youth, Winnington Park RFC, Weaver Panthers, Matt Roberts ‘Born to Run 12 in 12’ fundraising campaign, and the Warrington Flood Appeal.
Kate Carroll, Social Value Lead at Co-op Wholesale, said: “Mike and his team are a shining example of what community retailing is all about.
“This milestone is a testament to their continued commitment to giving back, and we’re delighted to see another deserving local group benefit from the Stronger Together campaign.”

Additionally, Dallam Stores owner Mike Sohal chose Community House Action Group to receive the Stronger Together Award, a charity initiative by Co-op’s MADL and Cadbury.
The award donates £1,000 to fund a summer day trip to five UK social welfare organisations.
Sohal added: “Reaching the £50,000 milestone through MADL means a huge amount to us. Our customers play a key role – every time they shop, they help support local causes.
“I’m thrilled Community House Action Group has received the Stronger Together Award – they’re a brilliant example of the heart and soul of our community.”
The news comes on the heels of Co-op doubling down on its social commitments after a survey of over 37,000 members revealed growing concern over inequality and division in the UK.
