Nestlé has unveiled its new Garden Gourmet Sensational range in UK supermarkets in its latest attempt to tap into the vegan consumer market.
The new range is part of the brand’s Garden Gourmet plant-based product line and features vegan fillet pieces and meat-free burgers, which are made with “responsibly sourced” soy beans, according to the company.
The range is set to launch across UK stores from September 20.
According to the food producer, it is set to launch four items including its Sensational Cumberland-style sausages, mince, Mediterranean-style fillet pieces and burgers.

The company states that the products are all low in salt, sugar and saturated fat, and claims that they are high in protein and a source of fibre.
The move also comes as part of the food manufacturer’s commitment to hit carbon neutrality by 2022.
“With more people looking for more sustainable plant-based food, we are excited to bring the Garden Gourmet range to UK supermarkets with our tastiest and juiciest and Sensational range,” Nestlé managing director for food and dairy Honza Dusanek said.
“Our aim is to make plant-based food an easier and more attractive choice for people who want food that is good for them and good for the planet.”
