Activia is expanding its gut health portfolio with the launch of Big Pot Natural and Fibre which aims to offer shoppers more options for breakfast occasions.

The launch brings the brand’s gut health yoghurt line into a larger, multi-serve format which can be shared among families.

The Activia Big Pot Natural is available for an RRP of £2.25 and is made with two ingredients, yoghurt and live cultures, and also contains no added sugars according to the business.

Activia’s Big Pot Fibre is sold for an RRP of £2.50, which includes yoghurt, live cultures, probiotics and added fibre.

This move comes after research from the brand’s parent company Danone revealed that 82 per cent of consumers prioritise versatility at breakfast, with the launch aimed at meeting different dietary needs.

Natalie Carnachan, head of category & commercial planning at Activia UK & Ireland, said: “As health becomes an increasingly important purchase driver at breakfast, yoghurts are perfectly placed to meet this growing consumer need, offering a convenient and nutritious option that can fit easily into a variety of routines.

“Demand for larger formats is also increasing, as consumers look for versatile products that can be tailored to different tastes and occasions.

“Whether enjoyed as a simple breakfast with fruit, cereal and toppings, or shared across the household, big pots provide a flexible foundation for a nutritious start to the day.”

The new Activia products are set to launch at Morrisons and Sainsbury’s during mid-September 2026 and will roll out across Tesco in October.
