The wine specialist has launched two new locations in South East of England, including its new 3,900 sq ft East Dulwich store on 23 July and then days later, its 3,700 sq ft unit Brentwood store in Essex.
Both stores will stock Majestic’s full range of more than 1,200 wines while hosting in-store events such as free wine tastings every day from its Tasting Counters.
Elsewhere, Majestic Wine has also recently reopened newly refurbished shops in Bearsden in Scotland and Stratford-upon-Avon in the Midlands, which has been equipped with new internal store refits, such as shelving units, signage and a new store layout.
The store openings means the retailer has now opened three new stores during the current financial year, following its launch of a Jersey branch in April, with plans to continue to expand at an average of one new store per month over the coming years.

“Landing £1m-worth of investments in the space of just a week shows how serious we are about our commitment to bricks and mortar, and our aim to open an average of one new store per month over the coming years.
“We are really excited about serving even more communities around the country, sharing our expert knowledge with them, and helping thousands of new customers discover new wines, beers and spirits they will love.”
Majestic Wine has placed a greater focus on experiential retail and hospitality offerings since its split from Naked Wines in 2019. Over the past four years, it has opened 19 new stores as well as acquiring wine bar chain Vagabond Wines.
