Recipe kit provider Gousto has launched its new Heat & Eat range as part of a wider strategy to grow within the mainstream dinner market.

The move onto the ready-meals category comes after the company’s success in increasing focus on convenience ranges, including 10-minute meals, which experienced a sales increase of 23 per cent in 2025.

The new line includes a selection of chef-designed meals which can be prepared in just seven minutes, according to the business.

This range includes King Prawn Arrabbiata Linguine, Piri Piri Chicken and Spicy Rice, Beef Brisket Massaman with Coconut Rice and Beef Dan Dan Udon Noodles and is set to expand in September.

The meals can be ordered separately or as part of a Gousto box with the option of next-day delivery.

According to the business, the recipes are nutritionally balanced and high in protein, and the ingredients are sourced from the same suppliers as Gousto’s recipe kits with 100 per cent British meat.

Timo Boldt, CEO and founder of Gousto said: “We are innovating at pace to meet more of the needs of customers as we push further into the mainstream dinner market.

“Heat & Eat, 10 Minute Meals, Next Day Delivery and the ability to flex recipes through more customisation options than any other provider are but a few recent examples of our continued drive to show up more in the lives of customers.”

This launch will be supported by a TV-led marketing campaign which aired on 21 August on Channel 4 which showcases Gousto’s offering of Heat & Eat as a quick and quality solution to daily dinnertime.

This expansion comes after the business recently returned to growth as the demand for healthy meals surged.
