Woods Foodservice to join Caterforce as 10th member

Caterforce has announced that Woods Foodservice is joining the group as its 10th member on 1 August 2025.

The move is part of the company’s strategy to grow its overall reach and influence across the UK foodservice industry with more companies in the team.

Caterforce projects that the new deal will increase its annual turnover to over £900 million.

Gary Mullineux, managing director of Caterforce, said: “Woods Foodservice is the perfect addition to our membership.

Woods Foodservice is a London-based wholesaler that serves as a supplier for premium products for hospitality venues across the UK. The business has been operating independently since the 1960s.

Darren Labbett, managing director, Woods Foodservice, said: “Caterforce has an excellent knowledge of the hospitality market, and we are proud to be joining such a well-respected foodservice buying group.

“We have ambitious growth targets and are eager to harness Caterforce’s buying expertise to strengthen our position and enhance our product offering to customers.”

Moving forward, the new agreement will build on Caterforce’s network of suppliers and strengthen its footprint in the UK.
