Gopuff extends 24/7 grocery delivery service

Gopuff has expanded its 24/7 grocery service to another city, as it aims to cater to a surge in demand for late-night orders.

The instant grocery delivery firm will now operate its ‘all-night’ service in Swansea, Wales, an extension from the initial 8am to 2am service it ran since it first launched in the city in 2021.

The new 24/7 operation builds upon on the success of similar services launched earlier this year in Liverpool and Newcastle, cities in which it has operated since 2020.

Alongside the adjusted hours, Gopuff has also extended its Aldi price match, pledging to offer residents of Swansea the same prices on over 50 products as the popular discounter. Previously the initiative, which was launched last month, was only available to customers in London.

A representative for Gopuff said: “Swansea is one of our busiest locations, and we are committed to being available for our customers any time they need us.

“By extending our service to 24/7 and introducing the Aldi Price Match, we aim to maximize convenience and affordability for everyone.”

Products selected for its Aldi price match range include Morrisons own-label items, as well as branded products such as Pepsi, Wholegood and Warbutons.

Examples of discounts include Wholegood Lemon, reduced 60% from £1.25 to 49p, Morrisons British 5% beef steak mince, down 24% from £4.60 to £3.49, and Morrisons carrots, down 56% from 75p to 33p.
