Gopuff launches first 24/7 delivery service to meet late-night demand

Gopuff has extended its services to include 24/7 deliveries as the popularity of late-night orders on the app rises.

The instant grocery delivery company will roll out the new services in Liverpool and Newcastle, cities which it has operated in since 2020.

The new 24/7 deliveries will start this week and comes after the app posted a 35% increase in late-night orders. Previously the delivery services ended at 2am.

A spokesperson for Gopuff said: “Since launching in the UK in 2020, Liverpool has been one of our biggest UK markets. We’ve seen great demand and interest in late-night orders in the area, so we wanted to extend hours in Liverpool to 24/7 to cater to local demand.

“At Gopuff, our goal is to be there for our customers when and where they need us, and this extension will help more customers get hold of their favourite brands, products, and everyday essentials, whatever the time or day.”

Back in 2018 Uber and Deliveroo launched 24/7 delivery operations in the London, claiming over 5,000 dishes served by 200 restaurants at any time of the day or night.
