Deliveroo has partnered with instant commerce company Gopuff to expand its grocery delivery offering across the UK.
Over 3,000 of Gopuff’s everyday essentials, such as fresh produce, soft drinks and household items, will be added to Deliveroo’s website, with customers able to receive the groceries in as little as 20 minutes.
The collaboration comes as Deliveroo’s research found that rapid grocery delivery orders accounted for 11% of its revenue in 2022 and order volumes have increased by nearly 20% at Gopuff since January.

Deliveroo’s research also found that two in five UK shoppers buy groceries once every two to three days and almost half (42%) of 18 to 34 year olds rank convenience as the number one determining factor when purchasing groceries.
Deliveroo grocery and retail VP, Suzy McClintock, said: “The rapid grocery delivery market is not going anywhere – since 2020, we’ve seen a growing demand for on-demand groceries and other essentials from our customers.
“Through this partnership with Gopuff, we will look to expand the selection of fresh food, drinks and everyday essentials that we offer to customers.”
Gopuff UK general manager, Alberto Menolascina, added: “As we continue to expand the Gopuff platform to create more seamless shopping experiences, we are excited to partner with Deliveroo to bring Gopuff’s leading fulfilment capabilities, unique assortment, affordable prices and fast delivery to even more consumers across the UK.”
This comes as Gopuff launched a new advertising platform in the UK last week, which aims to bring brands the unique opportunity to follow customer trends, such as where and when they are shopping.
