Schweppes has unveiled a new campaign in partnership with Netflix’s The Gentlemen which includes promotional packs and a national giveaway competition.

Running from September to December, the campaign aims to help retailers leverage the festival sales opportunity for at-home gatherings.

Additionally, the brand is running an on-pack promotion which gives shoppers the chance to win a New Year’s Eve party experience at Schweppes Manor as well as cocktail kits and shopping vouchers.

To enter the competition, consumers can scan the QR code on promotional packs and upload an image of a participating product.

This marketing initiative will run across promotional limited-edition bottles, mini-cans and a mini-can 12-pack.

The promotion will span across the brand’s range of products, including Slimline Tonic Water, Soda Water, and Indian Tonic Water.

This marketing activity will be supported by in-store activations, as well as digital, social media, influencer and out-of-home advertising.

The campaign comes as research from The Spirits Business revealed that 59 per cent of consumers said they planned to make more cocktails at home during the festive season.

Additionally, figures from Kantar showed that shoppers are also more willing to trade up and enjoy get-togethers over the festive period.

Rob Yeomans, VP of commercial development at CCEP GB, said: “The festive period is a major sales opportunity for adult soft drinks.

“Schweppes is already a firm favourite with mixer shoppers, and our partnership with The Gentlemen gives retailers another reason to create standout displays and inspire shoppers in the run-up to Christmas and New Year.

“With promotional packs rolling out now and the wider campaign going live in October, we’re giving our customers plenty of opportunity to build excitement, drive take-home sales and make the most of this important trading period.”
