Wine retailer Majestic is selling a limited edition Cotswolds Platinum Jubilee Gin inspired by the traditional British dessert Eton Mess.
The alcoholic treat which contains 46% ABV boasts bursts of “strawberry, raspberry & Madagascan vanilla” alongside notes of “citrus and pink pepper”.
“The Jubilee promises to be a bumper weekend for gin across the UK – the Queen’s favourite spirit – as we’re sure this new addition from the Cotswolds will be a sure fire hit,” Majestic spirit expert Jake Biggs said.

“Apparently Her Majesty’s favourite cocktail is the ‘Zaza’ – or Gin and Dubonnet. So for those wanting to drink like the Queen this Jubilee, make sure you get the perfect bottle from your local Majestic for a true taste of English summer.”
The fruity and creamy gin exclusive to Majestic is available in store and online for £35 for 700ml.
The Cotswold Distillery will only have a limited release of 6,000 bottles – designed to celebrate the once in a lifetime Platinum Jubilee.
