London-based rapid delivery grocer Jiffy has launched its first in-house service bakery, expanding its product range in its bid to become the most “exciting” brand in its category.
The bakery launch follows the brand’s first foray into fresh food last year which was popular among its customers.
The in house-bakery will initially be available from East London stores – Deptford, Hackney, Stratford and Bethnal Green – producing a range of breakfast pastries alongside a selection of fresh bread.
Following the initial trial period, the company also hopes to extend its offering to include fresh hot drinks.

“There’s nothing like the smell and taste of freshly baked bread and pastries and that’s why we are extremely excited to be leading the way with the addition of our new bakery,” said Jiffy co-founder Vladimir Kholiaznikov.
“We pride ourselves on our high-quality products and our bakery offers something for everyone – whether that’s a fresh croissant for breakfast or warm bread for lunch.”
The news comes after Jiffy partnered with Brewdog to launch a rapid beer delivery service, BrewDog Express, in Islington and Teddington.
Customers can access the delivery service through the brewer’s website to order a variety of cold BrewDog beers.
