Pringles has partnered with Movember to launch its “Pop, Share, Chat” campaign in support of men’s mental health.

The initiative will see the snacks producer offer a voucher for a free 40g can of Pringles with every 200g can bought from Tesco stores across the UK.

With the scheme, customers are encouraged to send the voucher to a friend, along with a few lines of advice from Movember for conducting difficult conversations.

The scheme is to run from September 1 to September 21.

According to the charity, the Covid-19 pandemic has triggered a decline in mental health around the country, with one in three men expressing fears that their friendships will never recover.

It also revealed that over a third of men felt lonelier now than they did prior to the pandemic and three out of five men reported feelings of poor wellbeing.

Pringles also is set to donate at least £75,000 to Movember’s 2021 campaign, following a successful partnership in 2020.

“We’re delighted to partner with Movember for another year to support the charity and the incredible work it does for men’s mental health,” Pringles brand manager Florence Kayll said.

“We hope that by giving people the chance to send a free Pringles voucher to a friend, we encourage people to check in with each other and start conversations they wouldn’t have otherwise had.”

Movember UK and Europe country director Anne-Cecile Berthier added: “We’re excited to have Pringles on board for another year to help us in the fight to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives.”
