KP Snacks has expanded its £1 price marked pack (PMP) Tyrrell’s range with the introduction of three new flavours.  

Tyrrell’s £1 selection will now include the additions of Lightly Salted, Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar and Mature Cheddar & Chive from the brand’s core flavour selection.  

The new flavours are now available across the UK and joins the company’s portfolio of products.  

The company now boasts 24 £1 PMPs and said that its range is meant to “excite shoppers and drive impulse purchases for retailers.” 

“We are extremely excited to be launching three core Tyrrells products as £1 PMPs,” KP Snacks trading director Matt Collins said.

“Tyrrells is already a well-known and much-loved brand, and by moving into PMPs, we can offer great value whilst widening our appeal.” 

The snacks producer’s expansion of its PMP selection has been encouraged by market research revealing that 42 per cent of crisps and snacks are bought on impulse, and that 33 per cent of consumers believe that PMPs offer better value than unmarked packs.  

“KP Snacks is currently thriving in the PMP segment, outperforming market growth and offering an exciting range in this versatile format,” Collins continued.  

“We are continuing to expand our PMP portfolio, driving sales for retailers by engaging consumers with products they love in an appealing and increasingly popular format.”
