Aldi launches last-minute Father’ Day gift SOS service
Aldi has unveiled a limited-time Father’s Day SOS gifting service, offering free emergency gift boxes to shoppers in need of a last-minute present ahead of Father’s Day.
The ‘Aldi SOS’ gift boxes include a personalised card, a bar of Moser Roth chocolate, and a pair of Aldi-themed socks, with the discounter promising the present will “knock the socks off” any dad or father figure.
Shoppers can apply by emailing their name and contact details to the supermarket chain’s designated email address from Wednesday 4 June to Thursday 12 June.
It is understood boxes will be sent out on a first-come, first-served basis, with recipients contacted to confirm delivery details before the big day.

“We know how much occasions like Father’s Day mean to our shoppers, and we’re committed to offering quality gifts at affordable prices,” said chief commercial officer Julie Ashfield.
“Our SOS Service means our customers can celebrate their loved ones even if they’re shopping last minute, helping to make Father’s Day special for everyone.”
In stores, Aldi is also offering a full selection of Father’s Day gifts, with products varying from a Cast Iron Dutch Oven to a Sisal Dartboard.
The initiative follows the launch of Aldi’s Mother’s Day campaign, where one shopper won a year’s supply of flowersthrough the retailer’s partnership with JZ Flowers.
