Tesco groceries and Clubcard points now available nationwide on Uber Eats
Tesco’s partnership with Uber Eats has gone live across the country, with shoppers not only able to order groceries on-demand but also benefit from hundreds of Clubcard Prices and earn Clubcard points.
The expansion builds on the continued success of Tesco’s rapid delivery service, Whoosh, which offers grocery delivery from as little as 20 minutes from around 1,800 stores across the UK. Whoosh reaches more than 70 per cent of the population.
Since launching in 2021, Whoosh has grown rapidly, with sales increasing by 51 per cent last year and around 1.5 million customers now using the service nationwide.
As customer demand for speed and convenience continues to grow, Whoosh has evolved to offer greater flexibility. Customers can now book same-day delivery windows that fit their schedules, shop without a minimum spend, complete larger basket shops and access an expanded range through more than 250 larger Tesco stores. Whoosh complements Tesco’s core grocery home shopping service, which reaches more than 99 per cent of the UK population and delivers over 1.2 million orders each week.

Rob Graham, digital director at Tesco, said: “We want to make shopping with Tesco as convenient as possible for customers, and our launch on Uber Eats gives even more people access to the outstanding quality, value and range they expect from us.
“Whether they’re planning a family meal, topping up their weekly shop or picking up some last-minute essentials, even more customers across the country are now just a few clicks away from Tesco products.”
Tesco joins Asda, Co-op, Morrisons and Iceland on the Uber Eats platform. Shoppers can also harness the loyalty programmes of Sainsbury’s and Waitrose through the on-demand delivery services.
Katie Hunter, general manager for grocery & retail in the UK for Uber Eats, added: “We’re thrilled to launch Tesco on a delivery platform for the first time with Uber Eats, now bringing their much-loved product ranges to even more customers.
“With Clubcard being integrated in the app from day one, our customers are already enjoying the ease and convenience of rapid delivery while still claiming their favourite Tesco rewards.”
Tesco will further expand customer choice in September when its products become available on Deliveroo.
