Sainsbury’s first introduced its Nectar Prices loyalty initiative in April across select household products, pet food and confectionery.

Last month, offers on dairy and bakery products, as well as fresh produce were introduced for the first time.

As a result, the average Nectar Price saving per customer from 11 April to 12 July was £14.42.

The savings are applied when a shopper uses the Nectar app or card at the checkout. For customers shopping online, the savings will be applied automatically if their Nectar and Sainsbury’s accounts are linked.
