Five new products: Nando’s, Absolut, Weetabix, Naked, Relentless



Nando’s has launched a new PERI-BBQ sauce, inspired by the PERi-BBQ dip pots in its restaurants.

Desbribed by the brand as “sweet and smoky with a hint of garlic,” the product is available in selected Tesco, Morrisons and Iceland stores at RRP £2.50.


Premium vodka brand, Absolut has unveiled a new range of ready-to-drink cocktails.

Available in Espresso Martini, Strawberry Spritz and Passionfruit Martini varients, each product has an ABV of 5% and an RRP of £2.50.

Each flavour will be available in supermarket giants Tesco, Asda and Waitrose from May.


Breakfast cereal brand, Weetabix is adding a new Chocolate Hazelnut varient to its Melts portfolio.

Asda will be the first retailer to stock the £2 packs from early May, with other supermarkets to follow in the summer months.

Weetabix brand manager, Ginni Farbon said: “The launch of this new flavour into our popular Melts range is set to be a hit with consumers as tasty cereal is the largest segment of the breakfast cereal category, with demand growing year on year over the last three years.”


Smoothie brand, Naked has launched two new breakfast smoothies in Strawberry & Banana and Pineapple & Passionfruit.

Made with real fruit, the Strawberry & Banana varient features strawberries, banana, apples and cherries, while the Pineapple & Passionfruit flavour includes pineapple, passionfruit, apples and banana.

The products also contain Vitamin C and are available in 300ml and 750ml bottles from Tesco and Sainsbury’s.


Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has added a new Watermelon flavour to its Relentless Zero Sugar range.

Rolling out in a white, black, pink and green 550ml can, the new flavour looks to fuel additional growth of the Relentless brand which is worth nearly £52 million.

The launch also follows on from the roll out of the Relentless Zero Sugar Raspberry and Peach flavours last summer.
