Naked Smoothies has expanded its existing range of breakfast smoothies with the launch of two new flavours: Naked Strawberry & Banana and Naked Pineapple & Passionfruit.
The UK smoothie brand, from Tropicana Brands Group, said the range comes in response to consumer demand for more simple flavour combinations at breakfast time – as 38% of smoothies drank in the mornings.
The two smoothies are available in 300ml and 750ml bottles, and are now being stocked at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and independent stores.

In related news, Tropicana expanded its range of natural breakfast juices with two new flavours in February – Strawberry & Banana and Pineapple & Pink Guava Crush.
Both Naked Strawberry & Banana and Naked Pineapple & Passionfruit are packed with vitamin C and provide one of your five a day. The launch is also the first in Naked’s new brand packaging, which features a more premium look and feel.
Both drinks are also being supported by a media campaign to highlight Naked’s new brand platform, encouraging drinkers to make their mornings more colourful.
“Naked Strawberry & Banana and Naked Pineapple & Passionfruit are the newest additions to the Naked range, packed with a spectrum of carefully selected fruits and bursting with flavour for a morning pick-me-up,” head of marketing at PepsiCo and Tropicana Brands Group, Charlotte Ashburner said.
She added: “Created with morning drinkers in mind, we’re delighted to bring these new breakfast smoothies to market, created with simple but delicious ingredients that do not compromise on taste.”
