FMCG giant, Coca-Cola has appointed Dusan Stojankic as its new vice president and general manager for Great Britain and Ireland.
The company veteran who joined Coca-Cola Hellenic 19 years ago, will be involved in overseeing a wide range of brands such as Fanta and Schweppes, as well as supervising the expansion of the Coca-Cola low and zero sugar range.
Stojankic’s new role will also include leading the region’s growth and helping to meet the company’s sustainable packaging targets which include making its packaging 100% recyclable by 2025.
Prior to his new appointment, Stojankic was most recently working as the company’s vice president of franchise leadership for south east Europe.
Following several international roles within the Coca-Cola Company, Stojankic has previously taken on the position of vice president and general manager, however based in the north eastern Europe region.
Sharing the news of his appointment, Stojankic said on LinkedIn: “I’m really pleased to share my next adventure, as Vice President and General Manager of Coca-Cola Great Britain & Ireland.
“Building on the legacy of my friend Jon Woods’ work, I look forward to overseeing a range of more than 80 products, continuing the expansion of Coca-Cola’s low and no-sugar range in Great Britain and progressing our sustainable packaging initiatives as part of our World Without Waste ambitions.
“I’m really looking forward to this next challenge at The Coca-Cola Company and starting a new chapter of life with my family in London.”
Stojankic will be taking over the role from Jon Woods, who had held the position for the past ten years before his was recently appointed as Coca-Cola’s global vice president of ESG commercialisation.
Speaking of his time as GB&I vice president and general manager, Woods said on LinkedIn: “I’ve loved the role – the results have been strong, I’ve learnt a lot, and above all I’ve seen that the people across the whole Coca-Cola system are what makes it such a special place to work.
