Tesco has entered into an exclusive partnership with Boporan Restaurant Group to launch a range of chilled Indian ready meals under the group’s restaurant brand, Cinnamon Kitchen.
The new range has rolled out in 450 of the leading retailers‘ stores across the UK, with recipes specially designed in collaboration with Cinnamon Kitchen founder, acclaimed chef and cookbook author, Vivek Singh.
Main meals include the restaurant’s signature Butter Chicken, Cauliflower Makhani and King Prawn Moilee for one, with centrepieces such as Tandoori Chicken and Kerala Spiced Beef serving two.
Cinnamon Kitchen’s sides feature Black Dahl, Lemon & Turmeric Rice and Bombay Aloo.
The dishes range from £6.50 for mains, £12 for centrepieces and sides priced at £3.
“We are thrilled to be launching our brand new fresh range from Cinnamon Kitchen, allowing us to bring popular dishes from our well-loved London restaurants into homes across the country,” Cinnamon Kitchen founder, Vivek Singh said.
“As the cost of living continues to rise, we hope our customers will find this range an accessible option for enjoying restaurant quality food at home.”

Have just heated Cinnamon Kitchen Beef Madras. Very disappointed. It is like watery soup with barely any beef.
Just had keralean beef. Sweet and artificial tasting. Not a lot of meat. Grisly and fatty. Had a piece which was like stomach lining…. 2” long and like elastics! We also had the king prawn moilee equally disappointing! Sweet and artificial tasting. Very little prawns and very chewy… i cant believe a chef like Vivek Singh has put his name to this!
I had the tandoori chicken and lemon rice, both were delicious.
The vegetarian Cauliflower Makhani tiffin box was excellent with each dish having different flavours and the Tandoori chicken and Lemon Rice were also restaurant quality.
Are the meat dishes halal?
