Nisa prepares partners for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations

Nisa has launched a variety of deals for its partners to help drives sales ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The symbol group retailer hopes to drive sales in the lead-up and during the four-day weekend with a raft of great deals for its essentials and licensed products, all of which are sure to help shoppers get the patio parties and street soirees underway.

“Research reveals that two-thirds of shoppers are planning on celebrating the much anticipated Jubilee weekend, so it’s important that retailers are well-stocked and offering a range of quick and east sharing eats that both hosts and guests can pick up for a range of activities including street parties, afternoon tea, and picnics,” Nisa’s promotional manager Laura O’Hearne said.

“The Jubilee weekend is expected to be one of the biggest calendar events of the year so retailers should prepare for a significant rise in footfall over the coming few days and throughout the four-day event.”

O’hearne added: “Many shoppers will be on spontaneous last-minute missions, so we would advise that shelves are being replenished regularly and point of sale is placed in high footfall areas to grab the attention of all customers and provide maximum exposure to the great deals that are available.”

The news comes as Tesco predicts sales of party foods such as Scotch eggs scones, cream cakes, bunting, special celebratory hats and fizz to soar to the highest level in a decade ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
