Amazon has opened its latest Amazon Fresh store in Southwark, joining 15 other branches in London.
The branch, situated at 110 Southwark Street, will be the first Amazon Fresh store to open in 2022, following last year’s launches in Camden, Ealing, Canary Wharf and Holborn.
As with the other stores, customers will need to scan the QR code via the Amazon app before picking up items and leaving.

Products taken from shelves are tracked by cameras and sensors which enable shoppers to be automatically charged once they have left the store.
The branch will also offer an Amazon Hub counter where Amazon packages from online can be collected and returned.
Currently, all customers will receive £10 off their first shop until 20 April and the branch will be open daily from 7am to 11pm.
The e-commerce giant’s Just Walk Out technology has also been licensed to third-party retailers such as Sainsbury’s and WHSmith. Tesco and Aldi have opted for their own tech.
The news comes as further openings have been planned in the greater London area, with reports hinting at a Bankside branch.
