Iceland has reduced the price for some of its fresh and frozen vegetables to just 1p.
In a bid to boost online Christmas orders, consumers can pick up a range of fresh and frozen vegetables ranging from Iceland carrots (£0.79, 880g), Iceland sprouts (£1.00, 900g) and Iceland parsnips (£0.79, 660g) for just 1p until the end of 21 December.
This offer applies to all vegetable’s priced at £1 or under, customers must order at least three packs of their chosen vegetables and enter the code “ICE1VEG” when they checkout to receive their discount.
All fresh vegetables included in Iceland’s offer will have best before dates that fall after Christmas Day.

To ensure deliveries arrive on time, the supermarket claimed it has 180,000 delivery slots available between now and Christmas Eve.
“Christmas has become more important than ever this year, with families having lost out on precious time together last time around,” Icelandd managing director Richard Walker said.
“That’s why we’re delighted to support our customers by cutting the costs of their festive feasts whilst also releasing a further 180,000 delivery slots between now and Christmas Eve.
“It isn’t just about winning the battle for the cheapest supermarket veg – we wanted to make sure that everyone is able to have a brilliant Christmas with their loved ones without having to worry about the monetary hangover that often follows.”
The news comes after Sainsbury’s announced price matching with Aldi, in a bid to provide customers with a better value Christmas meal.
