Waitrose and Deliveroo have created a Friendsmas bundle for hosts this Christmas, to make socialising more convenient for customers.

Shoppers can use the Deliveroo app to purchase the Friendsmas bundle, which includes a range of festive items such as Mini All Butter Mince Pies, Lobster Thermidor Vol au Vents, Red Onion Baking Camembert, Mini Yule Logs and more.

Once customers have selected their chosen items, the goods will be delivered directly to their home by Deliveroo in as little as 20 minutes. 

The supermarket is predicting that this year’s Friendsmas will be the most popular yet, following last year’s 16.3 million #Friendsmas views on TikTok.

Google searches for Friendsmas are also up 200 per cent compared to last year, with October this year 80 per cent higher than October 2019. 

“We are predicting a bumper festive season for 2021 with many festive gatherings planned ahead of Christmas,” Waitrose head of online planning James Lee said. 

“To maximise time spent with friends and loved ones, we’ve created a Friendsmas bundle on Deliveroo so you can order your festive favourites with the touch of a button and have them delivered straight to your door, hassle free.”
