SPAR Scotland is set to showcase its recent expansion at its second virtual trade show on September 23.
The wholesaler has chosen the theme ‘One Family, One Vision’ to focus on the country’s key products, services and business initiatives.
The virtual event will see the global brand deliver updates to colleagues, retailers and suppliers on its projects and transformation journey.
The tradeshow will also feature live question and answer sessions, presentations and supplier exhibits.
The symbol group retailer said that it has seen a “growing interest” among national independent retailers who are looking to join the company’s portfolio of 200 stores in Scotland.
“We have a robust recruitment plan which has enabled us to recruit a significant number of additional stores already in the first six months of this financial year,” SPAR Scotland chief executive Colin McLean said.

“Independent retailers are attracted by the SPAR Brand and our market-leading position.
“We have demonstrated how we have the right solution to meet the challenges they have faced in the convenience market over the past two years.”
McClean added: “We are helping independent retailers improve profitability through better prices and promotions, better delivery and distribution, better service and all with our unique SPAR Brand across Scotland.
“SPAR is the leading symbol group across the UK for independent retailers.
“There will be no better place to showcase our results and what we have available than at our virtual tradeshow.
“Here, people will be able to see first-hand just how well we can compete and the benefits SPAR Scotland can bring to their business.
