Asda reduces the price of private-label champagne to £10
Asda has slashed the price of its sparkling and wine products ahead of Christmas and New Year’s.
Its Louvel Fontaine Champagne Brut has been reduced to £10 from £19.98.
Asda’s senior manager for wine sourcing, Clive Donaldson, recommended the champagne for pairings over the festive season, stating that it is “well balanced and fruity, with flavours of citrus and vanilla”.
The supermarket also lowered the price of The Yellow Label Prosecco Spumante, a sparkling wine with zesty lemon, pear and apple flavours, to £4.67 from £6.48.
