Swiss consumer manufacturer Hero Group posted strong full-year results, with organic net sales increasing by 2.2 per cent to around £1.13bn.

The successful results were driven by a strong performance in the snacking category which increased by 7 per cent year-on-year.

The Better Confectionery and Wholesome Goodness categories experienced a rise of 10.7 per cent and 22.7 per cent respectively, which were led by the brands Corny and Deliciously Ella.

Last year Hero Group acquired Deliciously Ella for an undisclosed amount to expand its business to the UK snacking market.

Christian Schierbaum, CEO of Hero Group said: “2025 was a pivotal year for the Hero Group. We defined our long-term strategy, called Hero 2035, with the vision to become a leader in Better Snacking.

“With our strong brands, leading market positions and a very successful track record, Hero has all the ingredients to win in the growing and attractive Better Snacking market. Our ambition is to expand our position via multiple Snacking platforms.”

The business’ EBIT went up to £67.7m from £52m in the year prior due to significant progress within the gross margin and supply chain optimisation.

Hero Group’s net income for the year increased to approximately £44.7m compared to £34.7m in the same time period last year.

Moving forward, the business is confident in its ability to mitigate the current geopolitical and economic environment headwinds and accelerate organic growth in 2026.

Schierbaum, CEO of Hero Group, added: “The 2025 results lay a strong foundation for further growth. We are thankful for the continued high engagement of our people who work to provide the best nutritional products for our customers and consumers.”
