KP Snacks reported a revenue growth of 4.4% in the year to 28 December 2024, according to a recent Companies House Filing.

The success was driven by its portfolio of brands, including McCoy’s and KP Nuts, as well as the acquisition of Whole Earth Foods.

However, operating profit decreased to £89.4m compared to £97.3m in the year prior, offset by an impairment charge of Whole Earth Foods.

The snacks manufacturer saw sales increase to £645.2m from £626.7m in the same period.

KP snacks said: “Volume growth supported by pricing and mix were key drivers of 2024 revenue growth. Gross profit margin has increased to 51.2% from 47.7% as a result of mix management with brands growing ahead of own label, cost savings from transformational investments in our sites and brands and manufacturing efficiencies.

“KP Snacks has continued to make major capital investments during the year, which aligns with our strategy of being responsible for generations to come, alongside a record level of marketing spend to support the growth of our brands.

“Whole Earth Foods represents another fantastic investment in our business, expanding our selection of great-tasting, healthier products while supporting our sustainable business practices.”

The snacks manufacturer reported successful results despite “inflationary pressures” in 2024 due to increased wages and higher potato costs.

Last year, KP snacks achieved profits of over £100m after recovering from a cyberattack in 2022.
