Haribo partners with Gopuff for rapid sweets deliveries this Halloween

Haribo has teamed up with rapid delivery firm Gopuff to launch the UK’s first sweets emergency service, offering rapid deliveries this Halloween.

The ‘TreatLine’ will be available online and will deliver Haribo’s Monster Approved sweets – a definitive list of sweets created by kids, which includes Haribo’s Sour Skeletons, Monster Z!ng, Pinballs Halloween, Starmix multipacks and Trick or Treat multipacks – to shoppers doors in minutes via Gopuff while supplies last and in selected areas.

For the three cities which Haribo found to have​ “the least amount of Halloween spirit”, Bristol, Birmingham, and London, the ‘TreatLine’ will be offering 2,250 Haribo Starmix multipacks free of charge when shoppers hit the emergency button live on Gopuff on 31 October.

The sweets giant said the collaboration comes as Halloween is a vital event for the confectionery category that has seen consumer spending in the UK quadruple, and in 2023, spending was estimated at over £1bn, according to Asda’s 2024 Halloween trends report. ​​

Haribo UK and Ireland vice president marketing Phil Murphy said: “To help save Halloween this year, we want to help grown-ups match the effort kids go to and reward them fairly with Monster’s Approved sweets. ​

“L​aunching the ‘TreatLine’ with Gopuff is just one of the ways we’re making it even easier to do this, taking pressure off grown-ups to also have a little more time themselves to have some fun. ​Adults nationwide can visit the ​‘TreatLine’ ​on​ Gopuff ​t​o get Monster Approved sweets direct to your door.”

Gopuff director of growth Leon Tang added: “At Gopuff, we’re committed to being there for our customers when they need us most. By collaborating with Haribo this Halloween, we’re delivering the moments that matter most by ensuring grown-ups across the UK have the most desirable candy ready for their trick-or-treaters on this special night.”
