Tesco subsidiary One Stop is to phase out own its ‘Own Label’ products in place for Tesco ‘Core Own Brand’ range across all its stores.

Set to take place from 21 October, the shoppers at the convenience store will see Tesco Core Own Brand products introduced in stages, due to roll out into next year.

The move aims to enhance One Stop’s offering to customers, as well as allow its portfolio of franchise partners to benefit from the leverage of Tesco’s own-brand products.

Alongside the in-store shift, the supermarket’s own-brand products will also be available on all four rapid delivery platforms; Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats and Snappy Shopper.

One Stop managing director Stephanie Wood said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for us. The Tesco Core Own Brand range will not only elevate customer experience with high-quality, trusted products, but it will also enable our franchisees to offer a broader and more competitive range to their local communities.”

The shift follows a series of new investment into One Stop availability and range.

Earlier this year, it revealed it increased its product range from 500 to over 3,000 SKU with the partnership of a new delivery solution company, as well revamping its confectionery range and introducing supplier branded bays.
