Wine till five: Asda to list Dolly Parton wine in UK debut
Asda will host the UK launch of Dolly Parton’s wine brand this September.
Dolly Wines has been developed in collaboration with Accolade Wines and features both a rosé and a prosecco, available for RRP £9.50 and £11 respectively.
Accolade Wines marketing director Tom Smith said: “We are beyond excited to bring Dolly Wines to the UK. We know UK consumers will love the range, especially given Dolly’s global popularity – with over 100 million albums sold worldwide.
“Dolly Parton herself was involved in creating this delicious and down-to-earth range of wines, and we think they capture her captivating sense of fun and sparkle perfectly.

“We’re confident the latest addition to the Accolade Wines portfolio will help drive category growth among two already popular categories – prosecco has highest penetration in sparkling wine amongst wine shoppers, while the French rosé category is growing at 8.4%.”
Dolly Wines full global collection is to feature four products, including Dolly Wines’ chardonnay, rosé and prosecco as well as Dolly Parton Wines’ Sparkling.
Last week, Pernod Ricard agreed to sell the bulk of its wine brands to Australian wine manufacture Accolade as it looked to prioritise its spirits offering.
