Gopuff has launched an instant delivery Easter service by installing an “emergency Easter egg button” on its app.
The new rapid feature will allow Gopuff to deliver last-minute Easter favourites within minutes to shoppers front doors across England during the bank holiday weekend.
The Easter service will also operate until 2am on Easter Sunday, when many traditional supermarkets will remain shut.
Describing the new service as a “bunny in shining armour”, the feature will include leading brands from grocery lines ranging from Easter eggs to Sunday roast trimming.

Big brand names that will feature on the service, include, Cadbury Creme Egg (2 pack – £1.20), Lindt Gold Bunny Milk (£2.95), Tony’s Chocolonely Easter Egg Pouch (£5.95), KitKat Chunky Medium Easter Egg (£2.50) and Cadbury Chunky Ultra Easter Egg (£15).
Shoppers can also purchase other Easter essentials, such as vegetables, sausages and fish fingers from brands including McCains, Birds Eye and own-brand Morrisons.
It is not the first time Gopuff has extended its services.
Earlier this month, the instant grocery delivery company debuted its first 24/7 delivery service as the popularity of late-night orders on the app rises.
A spokesperson at the time said: “At Gopuff, our goal is to be there for our customers when and where they need us, and this extension will help more customers get hold of their favourite brands, products, and everyday essentials, whatever the time or day.”
