Plant-based meat alternative Beyond Meat has expanded into over 800 Co-op stores across the UK.
The vegan meat-free brand will now be available in the frozen aisle of the convenience chain nationwide.
The new listing follows Beyond Meat’s launch of a new campaign over Veganuary that humorously addressed misconceptions about its products and championed its new range.

Beyond Meat regional sales manager Lee Crane said: “Just in time for the warmer weather and BBQ season, we’re delighted to be extending our tasty Beyond Burger into Co-op stores across the UK.
“Local and convenient, the new launch will give even more Brits the opportunity to enjoy plant-based meat and discover the benefits of it being better for you and kinder on the planet.”
The new listings also come after Beyond Meat said it was set to increase its prices to get “back on track for growth”, after its losses widened last year.
The vegan brand reported a full-year loss of £65.4m ($82.7m) in the 12 months to 31 December – a sharp fall from last year’s £18.7m ($23.7m) loss.
