Applied Nutrition launches GLP-1 support range with Holland & Barrett

News

Applied Nutrition has launched a new GLP-1 friendly supplement support range exclusively with Holland & Barrett, as demand grows around clinical weight-management programmes.

The sports nutrition and wellness brand said the range had been developed to support consumers using weight-management medications as part of their wider health and weight-loss journey.

The products will launch in 400 Holland & Barrett stores nationwide this month.

The range includes Complete Protein, Hydration stick packs, Collagen gel, Creatine + Energy stick packs and Digestion Capsules, with products available in a variety of flavours.

Applied Nutrition said the products had been formulated to support a balanced diet for consumers following GLP-1 friendly programmes, where reduced appetite may affect overall nutrient intake.

The range will sit within Holland & Barrett’s Weight Management category, with Applied Nutrition becoming the retailer’s primary brand offering a dedicated GLP-1 supplement support solution.

The launch comes as the use of clinical weight-management medications continues to increase in the UK, prompting greater focus on how consumers maintain protein intake, hydration and broader nutritional balance.

Applied Nutrition stressed that the supplements are designed to complement a healthy lifestyle and should be used as part of an overall balanced diet.

Applied Nutrition chief executive Tom Ryder said: “We’re excited to be launching this dedicated GLP-1 friendly Supplement Support range exclusively with Holland & Barrett.

“Clinical weight-management programmes are transforming the weight-management landscape, and at Applied Nutrition we see a clear need for high-quality, trusted supplements that can support consumers alongside these programmes.

“This range demonstrates our ability to innovate at pace and adapt quickly to shifts in customer demand.”

Holland & Barrett category manager for weight management, joint, bone and muscle Sam Goodman said weight management was becoming an increasingly important focus for customers.

“Clinical weight management programmes are becoming part of that conversation,” Goodman said.

“We’re delighted to bring Applied Nutrition’s new range to Holland & Barrett exclusively.

“Our goal is to help customers stay on top of key nutrition needs, alongside the practical guidance and wellbeing advice that supports sustainable, long-term health results.”

The launch marks the latest sign of how retailers and wellness brands are responding to the rapid growth of the weight-management category.

For Holland & Barrett, the exclusive range expands its offer in a fast-changing part of the market, where shoppers are increasingly looking for products that support nutrition, hydration and wellbeing alongside clinical programmes.
