Nisa head of retail steps down as search begins for replacement

Nisa head of retail Victoria Lockie is departing the convenience retailer as she seeks to “take on a new challenge”.

She has spent more than 12 years at the business, joining in 2012 as a sales support manager, before serving in positions such as head of retail operations and head of key accounts.

Prior to this she was head of customer services at rival convenience retailer Costcutter, where she served a 25 years stint.

In a letter sent to retailers, the business revealed Lockie will be exiting Nisa on 31 May.

The convenience retailer has already embarked on a search for Lockie’s replacement, according to The Grocer.

Nisa said over the last 12 years Lockie had played a “pivotal role in building strong retailer relationships”, while “leading the partner base and retail team through a significant amount of change”.

The company added: “She has made a sizeable impact in our diversity, inclusion and mentoring activities through panels and forums both internally and within the industry, as well as her contributions to the Nisa charity, MADL, for which Vicky has been a trustee on the board.”

Lockie departure comes after a series of senior appointments last year, including Michelle Scott-Jones as its new head of central operations and Katie Secretan as its new director of retail and sales.
