French plant-based brand La Vie has launched a new vegan product, ‘La Vie Vegan Ham’, exclusively available in Tesco.

Debuting for the first time in the UK’s largest retailer in time for Veganuary, the ham alternative product comes in two flavours – regular and smoked.

The La Vie Vegan Ham regular and smoked 100g packs are priced at £3.00 RRP, however, the plant-based brand has teamed up with Tesco for an exclusive promotion offering two packs for a discounted £3.75 throughout January.

The introduction of the new product marks a strategic milestone for the brand, following it previously securing a French crowdfunding campaign.

La Vie CEO Nicolas Schweitzer said: “Bringing our pioneering Plant-Based Ham to Tesco this January is a true delight for La Vie. The surge in demand for plant-based options in the UK underscores a shift towards conscious eating and sustainable choices.

Last year, the brand partnered with fast food chain Burger King to bring La Vie’s plant-based bacon to its menu in celebration of Veganuary.
