Morrisons Daily is extending its partnership with Snappy Shopper to 300 additional convenience stores across England and Wales.

The rollout will allow more shoppers to order the retailer’s full convenience range through the rapid-delivery app, including everyday essentials, Morrisons Savers products, own-label lines and multibuy promotions.

Customers spending more than £35 will qualify for free delivery.

The expansion follows growing customer adoption of the service across the Morrisons Daily estate, where orders have reached an average value of £31.

Deliveries will continue to be fulfilled by Nash, with JetGo serving as the preferred last-mile partner.

Stores adopting Snappy Shopper’s technology will also be able to process orders placed through the Foodhub platform, giving participating retailers another route to reach local shoppers.

Snappy Shopper chief executive Mike Callachan said the expansion reflected the partnership’s performance to date and the companies’ shared goal of making rapid grocery delivery available to more communities.

He added that combining Morrisons Daily’s convenience range with Snappy Shopper’s technology would help participating retailers grow their online sales.

Morrisons group online director Charlotte Exell said: “We’re pleased to expand our Snappy Shopper partnership across our Morrisons Daily stores, making it even easier for customers to shop with us.”

She added that the rollout would give more households across England and Wales access to home delivery of Morrisons’ fresh food and grocery range.

The next phase of the expansion is expected to be completed during August.
