The convenience retailer said the investment showed its commitment to offer competitive prices to customers and to support retailers in growing margins throughout the festive period.
Nisa director of wholesale Ayaz Alam said: “This fresh investment will be very timely for our Nisa customers as we look to provide value and an opportunity for retailers to grow margins heading into the final weeks of the year.
“We have received some excellent feedback on the promotion so far which has been pleasing.”
Earlier this month, Nisa promoted Michelle Scott-Jones to head of central operations after 29 years at the business.
Scott-Jones, who is a two-time Nisa Colleague of the Year, was previously business manager in trading support where she led the successful data integration between Nisa and Co-op post-acquisition for the whole trading floor.
