Aldi has slashed prices even further as it gears up for its biggest Christmas on record.
The discount supermarket has revealed it will lower prices on more than 40 products by up to 10%, including meat, fish and other household staples.
Items shoppers can expect a price drop on chicken goujons, sausages and salmon fillets, as well as a range of produce items and cupboard essentials.

Aldi managing director of buying Julie Ashfield said: “We know that this time of year can be an expensive time for everyone, which is why we are cutting more prices than ever before in December.
“Our commitment to always keep our prices as low as possible for customers is going nowhere and we continue to see shoppers switch to Aldi for this very reason.”
The new price drop follows Aldi’s investment of £12m in lowering the prices of seasonal staples, representing more than 300 products.
