Iceland is livestreaming a ‘value alternative’ to King Charles III Coronation, by crowning a Coronation Chicken Yorkshire Pudding.
The livestream, which has been taking place all day today (5 May) on the frozen food retailer’s YouTube channel, features a Yorkshire pudding wearing a crown and sitting on a throne.
Every so often, someone adjusts the crown and seasons the pudding which has seen strong reactions on social media.

One viewer commented “long live the pudding,” while another stated “give me this over a quiche any day.”
Also marking the historic occasion, Iceland launched a new limited-edition Coronation food range last month, which includes its Coronation Chicken Yorkshire Pudding.
Shoppers can also find Coronation chicken pies in the range, as well as a party food offer of three items for £5.
Some of the celebratory nibbles included in the deal are cheese and garlic bites, mozzerella sticks, tempura prawns and chocolate eclairs and across its sweet selection, Iceland is rolling out a luxury strawberry and cream roulade, and a trifle gateau bar.
This comes as one in five (20%) British households say they will be stocking up on extra or special groceries for the Coronation this bank holiday weekend.
According to the latest data from NIQ, beers, wines and spirits are likely to be the main driver for supermarkets.
