M&S extends price lock scheme until Easter

M&S has announced it is extending its price lock campaign until Easter, promising a “refreshed line-up” on over 100 products.

The promise was due to come to an end at the end of the month, however the supermarket giant revealed it will carry on until 9 April.

As a result, a number of household essentials and cupboard staples will be included in the deal.

However, it is currently unclear how many of the products from the current list of price locks will be included the new round.

M&S Food managing director Alex Freudmann said: “Customers can be confident that when shopping with us they’re getting the best possible quality at the best possible price.

“We know families are feeling the pinch so our focus is to keep delivering on our trusted value promise for 2023 – and carry on making eating in exciting.

“Now more than ever, families are looking for more affordable ways to spend quality time together.”

The news comes as M&S will be opening 20 new stores and 12 new food halls across the UK as part of a £480m investment in its bricks and mortar store estate, creating over 3,400 new jobs across the country.
