Princes launches drinks duo made from botanical extracts

FMCGNews

Princes has launched two new drinks made from botanical extracts and not-from concentrate juices in a first of its kind for the food and drink brand.

One of you five-a-day, the new beverages are rolling out in Apple, Pineapple, Lemongrass and Apple, Mango Cardamom.

Available at RRP £2.50 via the long-life juice aisle in supermarket giants Tesco and Morrisons, each 5 x 200ml serving drink is also packaged in recyclable cartons.

“At a time when shoppers are looking for alternatives to traditional beverages, Princes Botanicals are a must-try – especially for those who like the unique and authentic taste of botanical plants,” Princes senior development chef, Simon Strokes said.

“This announcement is another exciting one for Princes, as we continue to innovate and provide a broad range of delicious, affordable options for our customers.”

This comes following the brand’s £2m investment earlier this month into a marketing overhaul for Napolina.

Looking to tackle declining sales, Princes unveiled plans for a “bolder and brasher brand personality” for Napolina, reflected in new “creative pack designs and formats with an unmistakably Italian spirit.”
