Frozen food retailer Iceland is set to launch a selection of exclusive Mars desserts as part of its new festive range.
Collaborating with the confectionary brand, Iceland will be rolling out the treats which include Mars and Snickers Dessert Bars, a Galaxy Caramel Wreath, a Galaxy Yule Log and a Twix Chocolate Caramel Tart across its stores from next month.
“We are delighted to announce the launch of our range of Mars branded desserts this November, our first Iceland Foods partnership range created with Mars,” Iceland buyer, Sophie Copping said on LinkedIn.
This adds to Iceland’s past and existing exclusive partnerships, including ranges with cheese brand, Cathedral City and restaurant company TGI Fridays.
Last Christmas, Iceland partnered with US confectionary brand The Hershey Company to launch its range of frozen desserts for the festive period which were available in over 1,000 of its UK stores.
This news comes as Iceland has launched its dedicated online Christmas page two months ahead of time to establish early frozen food orders, suggesting that shoppers “spread the cost of Christmas” by buying sooner rather than later.
The page already features hundreds of Christmas products available from mince pies to pigs in blankets and gammon joints.
