Confectionary distributor, World of Sweets has unveiled its latest product, Vimto Zero Fruit Drops which is compliant with High in Fat, Salt or Sugar (HFSS) regulations.
Available exclusively from World of Sweets, the Drops made with fruit juice come in a branded shelf ready display case of 12 x 36.5g at RRP £1.
The launch of the HFSS compliant sweets comes as upcoming restrictions are set to come into play from October, which will see items high in fat, salt or sugar banned from aisle ends, store entrances and checkout stations in supermarkets.
Vimto’s new product is the latest of several of the brand’s recent confectionary launches following its Fried Eggs, Giant Cables, Juicy Mixups and Shaker Cups.
“Our exclusive Vimto confectionary range has always been popular amongst our customers and retailers, so we anticipate that the brand new Vimto Zero Fruit Drops will do exceptionally well in driving impulse sales,” World of Sweets marketing communications manager, Chris Smith said.
“Since these sweets are also HFSS compliant, retailers have no restrictions on the sales and promotions of the product”.
Many other brands have also recently updated their selection with healthier choices such as Kellogg’s Pringles with a non-HFSS multigrain range and Valeo Snackfoods brand, Barratt which also announced the launch of its new HFSS compliant Flumps marshmallows last week.
