Amazon has opened the doors to its newest convenience store, expanding its grocery market outside of the UK’s capital.
Located in Sevenoaks, Kent, the store launched its official opening today, 22 June 2022.
The 19th Amazon Fresh to date, with other locations including Wembley Park and Kensington, the Sevenoaks store will also operate using Just Walk Out technology. Customers can enter using the Amazon app on their phones, shop and then simply walk out.
An Amazon Prime membership will not be needed to enter the store, however customers will need to have a registered Amazon account to begin the unique shopping experience.

Products from ‘By Amazon’, the organisations private food brand will be available for purchase as well as its premium grocery range, ‘Our Selection’, offering hot food and on-the-go meals daily.
Customer favourites including Pleesecakes cheesecakes, Sushi Kano and pasties from the Flour Station bakery can be found at the new Sevenoaks location.
Open 7 am to 11 pm seven days a week, an in-store pick up service is available to shoppers who have ordered Amazon products online.
Customers can also make returns in-store at the Amazon hub without packaging items or printing a shipping label.

We’ve heard from customers that they appreciate the seamless shopping experience the Just Walk Out technology enables, as well as the wide selection of food,” Amazon Fresh stores director Matt Birch said.
“Customers will also find our dedicated store team ready to help as they shop.”
